During RADIATE’s run-time and thereafter, technology transfer and service provision of ion beam technology shall be significantly extended, particulary in the Widening Countries of Europe.
To achieve this, Innovation Managers will pave the way to commercial exploitation in new fields with newly attracted partners from SME’s to create new market opportunities, and strengthen the competitiveness and growth of the respective companies.
Three innovation managers were hired at three of RADIATE’s ion beam facilities: Ida Srdic at RBI, Croatia, Richárd Rácz at ATOMKI, Hungary, and Andrej Kosicek at JSI, Slovenia. All three were invited for training at HZDR and spin-off company, HZDR Innovation in the beginning of 2020. Now, the three took stock of their first year as RADIATE innovation managers.
