Summer Schools & Programs 2021

We don’t know what this year will bring, but JYU, ETHZ, and HZDR are going along with their summer schools and programs.

There will also be two RADIATE summer schools this year – one will be a virtual in April 2021 (information to follow shortly) – and the other one will take place in conjunction with JYU’s summer schools.

At ETHZ, the department of geography is hosting a Geochronology Summer School on Dating Techniques in Environmental Research from 29 August – 2/3 September 2021. Registration is possible until the end of April.

JYU’s summer school includes courses in Biology, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Physics, Nanoscience, Mathematics, Statistics, Computational Sciences, Cognitive Science and Cyber Security. The school will take place in August 2021, registration starts in March. More information is available on JYU’s Summer school website.

HZDR is running an annual summer student program. Summer students choose to work in one of HZDR’s research areas (matter, health, energy, technology) and will be integrated into research groups working on predefined topics. The duration can be anything from 6 to 12 weeks. Applications are accepted until 28 February 2021.
