This is a project website involving 18 project partners from all over Europe. The processing of the data takes place by the project partners.
When users access our website, data such as the computer’s IP address, internet browser used, date, time of day and duration spent on the page is logged for a period of seven days. In principal, this data is only analyzed when technical problems or attacks on our webserver arise.
We do not use statistics programs to analyze user behavior and do not use any “social media plugin” (such as the “Facebook Like button”) on these pages.

If you use the contact form on our contact site, your e-mail address is verified to make sure you are not a spammer. Otherwise, no information is passed on to third parties without your consent and/or your being informed. The website is hosted on a HZDR internal server. A service provider for maintenance and support is not used.
We use https (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure) on this website, which is the secure version of HTTP encrypting all communications between your browser and the website. Users should be aware that Internet data transfer (e.g., through email communication) can encounter security issues. Complete protection from access by third parties is impossible.

Ionbeamcenters.eu offers a login function to RADIATE project partners and, perspectively, to external users to access internal information like papers, software, discussion boards.
In order to register on the website the future user has to put in personal data indicated in the registration form. The personal data entered are collected and stored exclusively for internal use of the project partners and won’t be given to third parties.
By registering on ionbeamcenters.eu, the IP address—assigned by the Internet service provider (ISP) and used by the user—date, and time of the registration are also stored. The storage of this data takes place against the background that this is the only way to prevent the misuse of our services, and, if necessary, to make it possible to investigate committed offenses. Insofar, the storage of this data is necessary to secure our website. This data is not passed on to third parties unless there is a statutory obligation to pass on the data, or if the transfer serves the aim of criminal prosecution.
The registration, with the voluntary indication of personal data, is intended to enable the controller to offer the data subject contents or services that may only be offered to registered users due to the nature of the matter in question. Registered persons are free to change the personal data specified during the registration at any time, or to have them completely deleted from our website.
